Admissions Information
The admissions process for Poppleton Ousebank Primary School is managed by the City or York Council’s Admissions Department and the process complies with the Council’s Admissions Policy. This means that Poppleton Ousebank Primary School normally takes children who live in the academy’s catchment area. There may be times when this leaves the academy with spare places – under these circumstances it is possible for pupils who live outside the catchment area to gain a place. In the event of the academy being over-subscribed, the City of York Council will allocate places according to its Admission criteria. Parents who are unable to obtain a place for their child at Poppleton Ousebank Primary School have the right to an independent appeal.
The City of York Council co-ordinate all our admission arrangements and further information can be found here.
